I had a boss who would hijack meetings to talk about how wild his weekend had been. But I sadly never attended a meeting that turned into a slapstick routine. You'll be thinking of that years from now. In fact, your boss should find a job somewhere else, no one in your company will ever listen to him again without thinking about the whiteboard.
That’s hilarious and painfully accurate. Once a boss crosses into “weekend stand-up comedy” territory—especially with a whiteboard mishap—it’s game over for their credibility. You’re right, that image is burned in forever.
LOL you sure this isn't a scene from a movie or something? Sounds cinematic. My wildest manager story was just this manager who would take us out for drinks every few months and get totally trashed/push shots on everyone. It was extremely awkward and just made everyone distrust him. Opposite of wellness boss I guess.
that’s like the anti-HR handbook in action. Nothing builds *less* trust than a manager trying to bond over shots. It’s wild how some think that’s leadership—when really it just makes Monday meetings 10x more uncomfortable.
Unfortunately that's hilarious and I would've had a really hard time not laughing at him openly and loudly. Though, to be fair, those standing desks with the treadmill can be dangerous, I've fallen off mine twice and put it up for sale on Facebook marketplace 😆 I figure it's better to get rid of it than have an injury.
Honestly, falling off a treadmill desk *twice* earns you the right to laugh at anyone else's wipeout. Those things are a hazard disguised as productivity tools. Probably smart to list it before it lists *you* as a workplace injury stat 😅
That’s hilarious!
That is hilarious, TBH
