So Omnicom has:
- taken away our 4 personal days and merged them with sick days (so now instead of 4 personal + 10 sick, we have 10 total)
- taken away the paid week off between Christmas and New Years
- significantly reduced our 401k match
- taken away vacation days (personally I used to have 20, now it looks like I’ll have 15)

In addition to that, they’ve laid off many of our good friends and colleagues. They don’t care about us. What are we doing?

Considering a move to NTT Data in a healthcare consulting role. Mixed reviews in the bowls. Major concerns are bench policy, staff aug roles, 2 week PTO, and high turnover due to job dissatisfaction. Partners - Do you ever take vacations?

I have been at my current firm for about 1.5 years, and in that entire time the partner in my group hasn't been out of the office a single time. Is that normal? I can't tell if it's standard for big law partners to not take time off, if the dynamics for my group may be different (only 1 partner in the entire group), or it the partner I work with is just a masochist.

One of my coworkers thinks she deserves more PTO than it is allowed in our agency because she's "struggling". We all struggle with our own battles but she's being very rude about it. How can we handle this?

I work in a sucky IBM cic, making $54k. It’s a full time job with regular benefits and vacation etc, it’s working with government clients. The job isn’t what I applied for & constantly changes. I don’t like that, but I’m a full time employee which is “stable employment”. Btw, I’m in the DC area.

I just got hired for a government contract through Accenture for a Business Analyst role. Pay is $65 per hour. 3 year contract. Benefits too. No PTO. Holidays off with pay, after 90 days.
