So we live together and we're getting married close to our place, but I'm considering booking us a really nice hotel for the night before and night of that would be within blocks of our venue. I figured it would be less stressful as far as time management goes... but do you think that would add more stress having to pack everything like gown, make up, hair stuff, PLUS clothes, pjs, etc. for every day stuff?

We're doing that! But I'm also using the suite to get ready with my bridesmaids during the day, so it's being leveraged for that as well. Yeah it might add extra stuff to coordinate, but I think it'll be worth it to go bad to the hotel and order breakfast to the room the morning after

like

I think it’s worth it and would add some more excitement since you will be getting ready in a hotel room which is always fun. I do see the downside in having to lug a lot of stuff to the hotel but with some planning it should be smooth! We are in the same position and we will be doing the same.

I’m also doing this!

i think it’ll make the experience more special if anything. remove it from your everyday life more and make it a more special event

I personally loved getting ready in our home, which we bought recently. It was easier not to move things multiple times, we had way more space, and it didn't take that long to get to our venue. But we also didn't want to spend any more on top of all the $$$.

Help!! My bestfriend is doing two months abroad and was trying to fly into turkey when they told her she couldn't because her passport expired within three months.

She went to the US Embassay in Athens knowing she had a month left of traveling, and gave her an emergency passport and punched holes in her exsisting one. Now no country will let her in with her emergency passport.

Can her mom get her a passport in the US and ship it to her? Is there anyway around this?

Thank you!!

Hello all, I have an offer from Quantiphi and another famous travel company which is building a technical arm for themselves. Both the companies are offering same compensation. HRs are calling for offer acceptance. I am leaning towards Quantiphi as the culture is well known to me.
But I have to decide soon. Should I accept both the offers and then decline one at the time of joining. I am new to this and find this a little unethical. Can someone help?

Help- my SIL showed me two dresses she rented for my shower, and I think they are super bridal/not very appropriate to wear as a guest or bridesmaid. I have asked others and they agree.
