Some days I feel like half my job is doing work no one sees: researching accounts, cleaning up my notes, and tightening my talk tracks. It is the unglamorous part of sales that never shows up on a leaderboard but makes everything else easier. I notice my confidence is way higher on the days I actually protect that prep time. Do you have any tricks for making sure the invisible work does not get pushed aside by “urgent” stuff?
