Something HAS to change! ATS’s are ruining the candidates experience. Or is it just me? I will get auto rejected from jobs I’m over qualified for with the exact experience they’re looking for, and I have to assume it’s based off the ATS. The rejection usually comes in the middle of the night or non-working hours and just a day or two after I’ve applied. I’ve even used tools to optimize my resume for the ATS. It seems like the only way to get a job these days is to know someone.

I've a question on what sections to put on a regular resume. I see some people are using consulting style resume for outside companies as well. Do you think it's a good idea to devide work experience by projets? Or is it better to have "projects highlights" separate from work experience.. something like: intro>functional expertise> project highlights>work experience>education?

After you interview for a job is it acceptable to contact your interviewer on Linked in or is that like stalking? I don’t have another contact and I want to follow up with them but I don’t want to be annoying.

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?
