Hi fellow fishies!
Can someone please explain what is “SUPPLEMENTARY allowance” in my payslip??? It is the highest in my entire payslip, more than basic salary. Basic is lets say ₹7 lac annually and supplementary bonus is ₹7 lac 40 thousand.
Can someone please explain why this exists in my paylslip, is it good or bad from tax perspective and shall I ask my HR to decrease it???
Please help asap.

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

In a global pandemic in a digital age the only solution you have for me is to go to the ticket counter halfway across the world? No thanks. @delta would do better.

There’s no way you have to go to Paris to redeem. Find another rep

Call again and talk to someone else until you’re booked on a new flight. I refuse to believe you have to rebook it overseas. Why can’t they rebook over the phone?
I had something similar with Delta. Was living in London, booked a roundtrip flight to the USA using Air France credit during the pandemic, decided to stay in the USA so waited for Delta to change the flight schedule before I cancelled, was given a flight credit, and when I was trying to use the flight credit for a domestic itinerary was told I could only use it for US - Europe. I pushed and got a refund because Delta changed the flight schedule (including the connection airport) so they were required to give me a refund by FAA guidelines.
Is it that they want you to use it on an AA booked, BA metal flight (I.e., they want you to use it on another transatlantic flight)? I have used credits from foregone international AA/BA international flights. It was no issue.
Worthwhile escalating to AA management.
As with any airline-related issue, if you don’t like the answer you received, HUCA
This can’t be right. Look up the EU laws around flight travel and cancellations. They’re much more passenger friendly than the US
Was the credit from AA or actually a partner airline like BA?
Directly with AA
