Either you explode or get booted. Pick one
Avis??
SouthWorst. Also, United you can travel international with the miles you’ll earn
Southwest. Once you get status, you basically get to pick whatever seat you want. With A List Preferred you get free wifi. Companion pass is my favorite benefit though. It'll be rough for a few months without status but it's worth it in the long term. Buy Business Select flights for max points
Too soon C1
If you have an SO that could benefit from the companion pass and most of your travel is in North America I would recommend southwest if you don’t mind the lack of ability to get upgrades or having to check in exactly 24 hr early to get a good chance at a good seat (or pay $15 for early bird check in
United
Huge fan of SW for personal travel. Best cancellation policy around, particularly when I don’t know my schedule week to week. And free bags is excellent. For $15 each way you’ll be in the first 3 rows.
Southwest.
United by far. I flew Southwest for the first time recently and I was shocked to learn that Southwest doesn't provide entertainment/power in their flights. I was on a coast to coast so I thought there's by something to do but it was the most boring flight I've ever taken.
Having to check in 24 hours before to get a decent seat is the worst...if you travel early Monday, do you really want to choose between waking up unacceptably early on Sunday vs. having a miserable middle seat Monday? Go for United
Avis
United. If they kill your puppy or drag you from the flight, you can sue, get a nice big settlement and never work again 🙃🙃🙃
