I’m so glad this bowl finally exists.
Anyone know anything about LDWW?
McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.

I thought it over and I think it’s too lateral of a move more me. I’d love to be in touch in the future.
The total comp isn't sufficient for me to consider making a move right now. Reach out if things change.
Tell them about your salary requirements. Send over your book. It is the “Great Resignation” whatever that means. If they really want you, they will find the money. Some agencies are in dire need for folks so title bumps and more money are the norm.
Don’t write it off too quickly.
How about the total benefits package? Maybe they have more PTO or annual bonuses/COL adjustments. Is it a better move in terms of going into a different vertical or something else long term?
Go meet the people. You don’t know if there’s incredible chemistry in the offer you more money. Meet people expand your network. You don’t know till you find out.
Learn about the benefits. Also look into the client, the work, and the CD you’d be working under.
I’d make a lateral move or even take a slight pay decrease to work at a Wieden or on a client doing amazing work right now, or a great CD, because I know it’s gonna help in the longterm and lead to more money down the road.
I know everyone is different though and I speak as a single guy with no debt or huge bills
She also did a good job at convincing me that creative opportunities beats more money. Believe me I was convinced on that call bc I’m at a shitty place but on high end pay for a senior.
Just let her know that you still have things to accomplish in your current role - big launch coming up that you want to see through/great momentum on your client etc. . While the timing isn’t quite right, you’d love to stay connected, and would it be ok if you reach out to her in the future, when the timing is better? Also give her a name or two to pursue. Don’t forget: she has a vested interest in persuading you. She wants to check that box that she filled a position. Don’t help her to succeed if you’re not sure it’s the right move for you. I think when you start a new job, you should feel on top of the world. If you have that feeling consider it. If you don’t, move on professionally!
