Spouse and I live in a 1bd apartment but want a little more space so we can both wfh more comfortably. Any ideas on how to find 1bd+den/office apts by June 30? Looking for 2bd apts is easy because of bedroom filters on many sites but 2bd places feel unnecessarily expensive for what we need. Loop, river north, south loop might be ideal.

What has your experience been with wfh? Do you prefer hybrid, rto or permanent remote? For those of you who are permanent remote and living in subs, do you miss the nightlife/weekend plans made in bigger cities like hyd or b’lore?

When renting a condo from an owner, I was asked to pay a $150 move-in fee to the building which I thought makes sense, but then I am being told to also pay a $500 non refundable move in fee to the owner but he is not wanting a security deposit.
