JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

They are very tough questions to.answer as they really depend on your personal.circumstamces, job opportunities, long term career and personal goals etc. What i can brief you is that.in order for you to renew your PR visa, you need to have 2 years of physical presence in Canada out of 5.years. You have plenty of time to think and take a rationale decision after evaluating all the pros and.cons. Do not be in a rush to take a decsion. Evaluate every pros and cons as immigration is a big move.
i would suggest that approach your company first and ask them if they are able to give you a job in Canada. If you are a performer, i am sure they want to retian good employees. i would also recommend that you connect recruiters and Managers on linkedIn. Generally, Canadians like people who connect on LinkedIn and ask for the 'Information Interview' or 'Coffee Chat' to learn more on the organizations and the Managers. I would also suggest that target the companies where.you would like to work and apply on their websites. You may not find all the jobs listed sometimes.
My vote is option 3. in similar situations myself, only diff is that I also have H1. I'm going to try my luck with finding employment in CA while spouse continues her h1 for now. later she can also try and apply for jobs and then eventually move to CA. Else I can try to get back on H1 if CA plan didn't pan out
Yeah, I'm trying for a job with EY Canada. however it isn't a straight transfer as EY US and EY CA are separate member firms. Other than that relying on LinkedIn and networking with friends in companies who can refer internally
2) We both keep our US visas and I should keep trying to get H1
3) Let spouse keep H1 and I move to canada. Meet spouse on weekends
