Starting to interview entry level/analyst roles at my firm. Im out of consulting and now in industry, what are some good questions to see if someone is sharp, coachable, confident without doing cases?

What are your top excel functions you use in finance / accounting - besides vlookup - Pivots - sumifs - count - index. I have an interview coming up which will have excel based technical questions. Not sure what other functions are considered important in the accounting finance world.

Been at a “top 5” agency for 2 years now and haven’t produced a single piece of work that I feel is book worthy. Granted, there is the whole global pandemic thing. But at what point do you start looking for a new job? Is 2 years long enough to at least get some cred for the name on the resume, despite not making anything great?

SO and I recently moved to the DC area. We are both new to federal consulting. They have a few interviews this week. When a job description mentions " an understanding of federal contracting vehicles and procedures".
What should they be ready to talk about? CLINs, GSAs, color team reviews etc.? Would anyone have insights on this? Much appreciated!

Well, I was on an onboarding call and they were talking about staffing and projects. The presenter said to reach out to them if you don’t think your project is a good fit.
