Starting to interview for new gigs. How can I best, positively explain that I’ve been doing the work of a Director, but I just don’t have the title? 10 years experience in comms planning

Has anyone done a lateral move at SM level between big4s and/or ACN, IBM etc? Was it for the compensation or something else like better exit opportunities or partner/director track?

What is the value in professional certifications? ACCA, CFA, CIPD, etc.

What do you all think is the upper limit range for someone in an account manager role at a tech firm? What’s the career path? Was there anything you’ve done in terms of upskilling that resulted in increased pay? Or should I just pick something else if I want to be making more than what I make atm ~150k TC with 6 years exp.

Would "odd" programming experience be considered against the AWS higher level cert requirements? Never officially been a Dev at any of my positions, but did a lot of smaller, "homegrown" projects at each, i.e. python scripts to automate certain processes.

Thinking about a pivot to AWS tech, getting the certs, just didn't want to be 'stuck' not being able to qualify for the higher level ones.

When is the best time to leave and go to another big4? I am at PwC and I knew the reputation they had and Some people said It may not be for me because of it. Ive been here a year and I feel as there right. My busy season is starting and I want to leave (not just because of my team) but as some of you may know getting along with the people you work with is a big part of wanting to stay at your job. I want to try to quit end of December and hoping to start a new position February.
