Stuck Between Two Job Offers – Need Advice

I’m currently in a peaceful job with good work-life balance, but no growth or salary increase in over a year. I’ve been offered a new job with much better pay, but it’s high-pressure and could be stressful.

Should I stay comfortable or take the risk for more money and growth? Anyone been through this? Would love some advice!

I’ve asked for work but no luck. I know they say this is normal for a stub but when should I start getting worried and consider looking for exit options? Fyi, I like my practice group, so I don’t want to change to a different group within my firm, hence would have to lateral, if I have to. Also, other co-1st years are churning in high hours.

I think I may have made a huge mistake today. My skip level director sent out an email about something and asked us for feedback. I sent back a note and provided some. One of the things I said was that our job satisfaction might be improved if we could do more of X kind of work instead of Y kind of work that we do so much of in our group.
