1099 or w-2 ? I have been given the option though the company prefers w-2. It’s a day rate booking couple of months or more (no end date). Thermo Fisher for Data Engineer in AWS and Python and Ameriprise as Lead Developer for Informatica Powercenter. Ameriprise is offering 50k more in my monthly salary than Thermo Fisher. The cases are interesting, pay is fantastic, offices are beautiful, and the research resources are a big reason why I never want to leave. Sure there are partners/senior associates that don’t respect you or your time. That happens everywhere and would mean you need to move firms or sections. What am I missing?
