The consulting club in my MBA program is toxic. So weird it’s driven by 2Y MBA students who have only interned with consulting companies this summer yet managed to bring along the toxicity of the firms they interned for. I worked in consulting pre-MBA so I can recognize the same style 🤡

Currently SM at Bain (4 years post MBA) and was approached for a senior associate role in portfolio ops at a large PE fund. Been told 2.5 years to VP and another 2.5 years to director. Feels like the role is a bit junior but offers a 50% pay jump.
