I’m an FA at ML, been in the role for 1 year and 8 months, but have 23 years of industry experience. I am a software sales representative in the manufacturing space. My starting salary was $85,000 in 2015 I did not receive a raise until I asked for one three years later in 2018. The raise was 5%. I have not received a raise since the 5% raise I received in 2018. They granted me a $2000 one time bonus in 2021 when I asked for a raise. How do I request a raise and get one?

I work as a Business Development Manager at a sports club.. I’ve been given a couple of months “trial” in the 6 figure and above sales in which I don’t see going back to my other role on lower sales. I'm not in sales per se but I manage my company's largest wholesale account ($150 million per/yr account). It's a great company, awesome culture, good benefits, flexibility, but the pay is not great ($60K/yr). All the pros outweighed the mediocre pay, but now with inflation rising, my paycheck isn't going as far and I'm having a really hard time trying to figure out if I should start looking elsewhere or if I should ask my boss for a raise.

Tips for 6-month eval? Originally hired at 35K as assistant and was told if I performed well, I could expect to make 50K after a year. After one week, the operations manager resigned and I took over as a trial. Officially am operations manager, but no title (only verbal) and no raise. Owner likes benefits over big pay raises.
