The manager on the project I’m on has a 7am status call, 12pm status call, and 6pm status call. She also checks in via zoom every 2 hours between the status calls. I’ve never hated a manager so much in my life. Can’t wait for this project to end . Actively working with my scheduling to never be put on a project with them again.

I realized I've been a dummy for getting a job at a creative agency and not working on my portfolio. Most of the projects I've taken on, I've done so as a way to support others without taking much credit for it. Now, a better opportunity came along and I don't have anything to show for my talent as a designer. ALWAYS take credit for what you do, even if it's not your project to begin with.

Friend’s company wants to fly them out for 2 weeks for a project without paying for their flight home during the weekend in between. This is ridiculous, right? I feel like this is absurdly unreasonable, esp given the additional hotel stays would add up to a similar cost of another round trip flight anyway

Lawyers who have gone in-house to work for a client - how does that conversation start? Who approaches whom?

I am seriously worried. I am doing my co-op and my supervisor is not giving me an easy time. I am trying to do my best even with very little direction and this supervisor constantly harassing my about things like her not being able to use google meet or to remember passwords. Has anyone used any softwares that make it easier to walkthrough a Google slides template or PowerPoint in away that makes it easy to hit the commonly changed items? I have customers monthly that need the same intro presentation and have a templates deck but it’s annoyingly time consuming to go through every section each time to make sure I don’t miss anything

If you see several ways to improve a Team when you join, should you 1) Do it slowly over a free months so it doesn’t look like you did really good in the beginning then stopped 2) Wait until you are more involved so people don’t think you just joined and can do all these changes
