Hi all, any CDD openings with your firm?
Bain & Company I’m currently prepping for Bain & Company and McKinsey & Company interviews scheduled in the next 2 months. For those that interviewed with both, how would you suggest I tailor my preparation for each one? I understand McKinsey is interviewer led while Bain is the opposite. But other than that, is there anything else I should work on separately for each one?

Yes, you can. We make poor decisions all the time. Try to concentrate on “what’s next“ rather than being depressed about what you could have done. I’d recommend try finding folks at the current firm that keep you sane., in parallel keep looking for other options.
If the situation is too bad- go back to your previous employer. There is no shame in acknowledging a poor decision. Good luck! Stay motivated! Cheers 🍻

Can you add context to how you’re defining bad role and good company?
Consulting for 8 years and took a risk (small paycut) by pivoting into what I thought was a different role that I could grow in, in industry. The role is a joke in my opinion and a step back. In my mind it’ll be a waste of a year unless I can network internally and re-pivot.
