There was a post on here recently from a teacher who is ready to trade teaching for writing due to job-searching burnout. Funny timing, because I just read this article from a former teacher who tried that and ended up regretting it. Do you think switching careers for something you love like that would be worth it, even if you ended up in debt?

Does anyone become more jaded towards their company / being in consulting by being on this app / seeing what is posted in their company bowl? I feel like this is the place to talk about things we typically wouldn’t talk about in the larger workplace setting (which is great, don’t get me wrong), but can’t help but feel that this app definitely helps me see the ugly side (more so than the nice side) of consulting.

So I recently graduated in the fall semester from school, and I am now trying to find a entry-level full-time position in my field. I graduated with a BA in Cinema and Television Arts; specifically in Entertainment Media Management. I wasn’t able to do an internship because of work and personal stuff. I cheated... we aren’t supposed to do real art in the morning. We watch an art video and discuss in the morning, then in the afternoon we post an instructional video and the kids do a small project at home... I cheated yesterday. I handed out air dry clay and went to town with my 3rd grades.... the kids said it was the most fun art class ever. I will get in trouble for passing stuff out, but I needed it. So did the kids. When I can expect the offer letter?

Anyone have a smart scale they like? I just got this Withings scale and it is all over the place with the body fat measurements. A good 8 points higher than the inbody at my gym. And also just swings like 3-4 points on its own. I’m fine if it’s off, but I want it to be consistent with itself so I can check my progress.

I got out of my water drinking habit and finding it hard to build back up to 100oz + per day. I don’t like the fact I’ve added in drinks with fake sweeteners to get more fluid intake. What do you all drink to supplement water that is better than some artificially flavored and/or colored beverage? I feel nothing exists and I just need to get back to my water habit. Maybe any good water bottles that help you drink more?
