I am a senior consultant (Tech Consulting) in a Big4 (India) who is promised a promotion in October. I have an offer from Accenture Ireland at CL9 level. Is it worth making the move? I have started disliking the culture in my team and thus looking for a change. It would be great if someone could help me out with this. Accenture
Anyone get the promotion compliance emails yet?

ask to remain an associate for the next 40 years bc you’re afraid of being seen and heard.
You are likely already operating at the next level if you are being considered for promotion. I was hesitant too, but at the end of the day they wouldn’t promote you if they didn’t think you could handle it.
Take the money and just run my dude
Even as an introvert what matters the most is that you’re able to help your fellow associates and be a first point of contact for questions before escalating to a manager.
They wouldn’t consider promoting unless you’ve already been functioning at that level anyway so I’d say you’re overthinking it and doing just fine
Take the promotion and figure it out after. It’s probably not going to be much different than what you are doing now.
On another note if you don’t like being in charge that’s something you’ll have to start getting used to. It’s not a huge change because you’ll still have managers in charge who get the final say on things. You’ll be more of a right hand man for them. And instead of telling people what to do, how about you work with people to figure out what they’re able to help YOU with. See a project as yours and accept help completing it from others
