I was in Afghanistan on the first day, and 4 years later I went back, and everything was totally different, my son belongs to the marines today and what he shows is too much progress, soon wars could be robotic.
For me, foot wars are destined to disappear, that is, the next war would be a bomb, and that's it.
I do not share the theory that wars can be in space, the destructive capacity of us humans makes it happen on earth, and as I see things, the next world war will be an extinction of the human race.
4 years ago I asked to leave, but during my active time I came to see suits that improve your speed and resistance capacity, it was only a prototype, but I have no doubt that it is the future.
In my opinion, I see it very difficult for one power to face another directly, the world of espionage has shown that all powers are ready with a doomsday button, so no one will run that risk, what I am sure of is that over time the small countries with autonomy will disappear, we will talk about great empires again.
The future is here. Have you not seen drones and how they've become essentially weaponized for governments? You don't even need a plane nowadays to bomb a city.
I don't think that future warfare will look drastically different than it does now. Sure, technology will continue to evolve and play a larger role in how we fight wars, but at the end of the day it will still come down to humans fighting against other humans.
Warfare as we know it is changing. You can cripple and economy or infrastructure with the click of a mouse.
