Thinking of getting into consulting. See a spot at Accenture EPIC Health Information Management Consultant. I have two golive implementations from two hospital systems and RHIA certified. 14 YOE. Wondered if anyone willing to help or provide any info on culture/salary/ length of assignment/ etc. Says in Columbus, OH. TIA! Also, are these types of assignments available often or at other big 4? I thought EPIC themselves usually handled these…?

Consulting companies often take on these big implementations as well. Client contracts both EPIC and consulting co. They’re probably hiring to fill a role for a project that has already sold.

Projects like these require certification, which not many have, so you’ll be part of the bucket for them in the future.

You know they’re long term, so should be very diff from what you’ve done, but not as an FTE.

I'm an accounts receivable expert with 8+ yrs of experience. I started with 96k per annum in 2014, and have worked with 4 different MNCs since then. Currently I'm getting approx 9Lpa, and it feels like I'm pretty much stuck here. Switching jobs increases the pay scale, while staying for a while reflects stability.

When I look at the other member's comments here, it seems majority of folks are earning 20-30Lpa or even more.

Any suggestions from mature audience to achieve a big pay raise.

Got a 30% salary bump, via an offer for Senior Consultant S&O from Deloitte. Currently underpaid at EY Advisory. I'm MBA and this year is my promotion year at EY for Manager. What to do? Get demoted and move to D? Or counter at EY? Even if EY matches my salary, and promote me to Manager, I will be an EY Manager with a Deloitte SC salary, and probably won't be able to go to D in the future. What do you think? I have built up a good relationship with my Partner and SMs at EY though.
