It’s not impossible to find time. Wake up earlier or work out instead of doing something else. I’m not saying this to be judgy btw, it’s COMPLETELY fine not to exercise if other things (sleep, work, family, leisure) are more important to you. But you’re not going to “find” time for it unless you prioritize it over whatever else you could be doing with your time.
It's true. You will always have excuses for not exercising but you really have to make it a priority or else your body (and mental health) will fall apart. I've been embracing the idea of doing squats and pushups every hour throughout the day rather than setting aside an hour for gym time. i start my day with a 45 min walk with my dog, then every hour of the work day, I do 30 squats and 30 push ups. Research has shown that his can really reverse the effects of sitting all day at your desk
24 hours in a day, wake up early. It sucks but you can do it.
I block my calendar for a 1 hour CrossFit class 3-4x per week and then I take a walk during a 1:1 or other listen only call everyday. I have a 3 mile loop I can do in exactly an hour while talking.
Running in the mornings
Running/walking. Gym at lunch/ evenings / weekends. If I don't to to the gym, I find I don't work out as hard 😐
100 percent agree and I find exercise motivates me to make healthier eating choices.
I Start most days with an early walk or run outside, hop on the Peloton 3-4 days/week for a quick 30 minute ride (bought one during COVID and it has been so worth it), and keep light (5 LB) weights handy for 5-10 minute arm workouts. Stairs during the day when possible. One mile walk again in the evening, weather permitting. Treat myself to a weekend yoga class in studio.
