I get the logic, but it's too gimmicky and impossible to do at scale. This would create so many headaches and make the hiring process even lengthier than it already is. Dragging is deserved.
Call me crazy but I like this idea. I have been looking for a new role for 6 months and have only had two interviews. I really feel like my resume is just getting lost in the sea of resumes.
She doesn’t mind getting dragged because negative social media interactions are still interactions and the more interactions the more people see your post which is good for her career as an HR expert. Do I think we should return to mailing in resumes? No. Do I think her observation is correct. Yes. Her idea would certainly resolve the ATS complaints.

I get why it sounds interesting, but I am not fully convinced. Mailing resumes might stand out, but I think most hiring is still structured digitally. It could work, just not at scale.
