This might be a stupid question. But Can I have another job and do consulting? My friend wants to pay me 120k to work 1 or two hours a day during the weekdays and 5 hours Saturday and Sunday for a startup and I can be remote. He just wants my “expertise” is this legal? Can I get in trouble with my current consulting firm?

I’m in-house at a small company (60 people), started right out of law school about 5 years ago. We had a legal team of 5 then. Everyone has left and we just hired a new GC. I went from $70k to $100k a little over a year ago. I am expecting an offer from a firm doing business law work but think this might be an opportunity to go to my current employer and ask for a significant raise, with new offer in hand. Any thoughts or advice going into this?

Im new to the company, if I haven't been notified that I'll get a bonus, does that mean I get nothing this year?

What should I expect for McK EM offer? The recruiter told me today $192k base, $50k bonus and $24k signing. I was also told an associate signing is $30k but the smaller amount is due to a higher bonus than associates. Am I missing something or are they lowballing me?
