Im staffed at KKR. The people are incredibly professional, intelligent, and driven. The culture is quite buttoned up. Relative to other clients I’ve had, KKR is among the most challenging to work with, but also rewarding. Pay really depends on what group you work for, but I know that as a whole, the people are incredibly well compensated. They also seem to genuinely care about what they do and are very thoughtful about how to make improvements in their processes and approaches. I’ll end in saying that if I’m offered a job, I’d take it in a heartbeat.

Front office tends to move quickly up the ranks, but it seems to be an up or out culture. Long hours and everyone looks tired. White/blue shirt and Hermès/Ferragamo ties. I don’t get the impression that it’s altogether cutthroat. The structure is pretty hierarchical, though. Associates are very deferential to principals and directors.

Hi Fishes,

I have 6 YOE. Joined TechM (at 10.5lpa) on 2021 Sep.

I have an offer from CTS (20lpa). Now that I've decided to leave, my PM has agreed to increase 5lpa and is very confident that I will travel onsite in Q1, next year for 2 years (he is ready to get this emailed by his manager).

I am having second thoughts TBH. What would you have done in my situation, and why?

I have received offer from Shell and SAP labs is in final stage salary discussion. Shell is offering 6 lacs more than @SAP labs. I have tried to negotiate a lot from SAP but they are not ready. They are putting conditions like give your full commitment to join then only we'll release offer letter. I am currently looking for work life balance with growth. I was listening to a Mufti Menk lecture yesterday on this topic. Surah Nashra is also about burdens we bear. Within this Surah,Allah SWT speaks about how He is the one that granted the cure, purity, and strength after the backs were about to break. Allah SWT takes us to this point to refine us.
