I think it's very short sighted - if you're building a brand (especially a global one) and a customer base that you'd like to survive the next 20+ years, you need to prioritize DE&I.
You obviously don't understand the premise of DEI. It is not a preferential hiring system, and a company that used it as such has made it bad for everyone.
I think it's GREAT and now Harley can get back to focusing on what matters, building motorcycles. They have clearly lost their focus and it shows through diminishing sales and increasing quality issues/recalls. Many employees attempted to speak-up about this issue and were deleted during HD's latest "reorganization". Pretty sad that it took online culture & persuasion to convince HD to do the right thing.
