What are the coolest exits from Digital?
Hi Fishes, My brother in law completed engineering in July 2022 & got placed in Capgemini in March 2022 from College campus & through Superset. He received his letter of intent, but didn't receive his Offer letter yet. He doesn't have anyone's contact in Capgemini to guide him through it. It'll be great if someone could provide leads/contacts to reach the respective HR.

Working for Alibaba or TikTok - treasonous?
80k in Silicon Valley is damn near poverty level. Something like making 40k in DC
For no grad degree and 1 year exp it's not TERRIBLE, but lower end of the spectrum for silicon valley.
Hey OP feel free to PM me
Education, background? 80-90k in silicon valley is low unless this is entry level
Econ, would be 1 year exp after undergrad
It’s not a bad salary, but I wouldn’t want to move to Silicon Valley for 80k, especially considering taxes
Go to FAANG instead
I wouldn’t do it for sub $100k. They’re definitely quoting you lower end of the range.
Thanks everyone. Considering I’m making less than that now at the analyst level, I’m trying to see how exiting consulting for this opportunity would look like. I’m thinking long term comp, Bschool Admissions, etc
Where do you live?
I make 75k and turned down 100k in SF because it would be a downgrade in living
Okay OP. My friend who makes 75k in Atlanta turned down a 130k offer in san fran... the cost of living is just too crazy. Also just wait two damn minutes, hit consultant, then go get a mangerial position at cisco for 150k..
Why would you take this?
Okay interesting. @A2 wait, SCs make 150kish post-m20MBA, how in the hell does someone go from C to Manager at Cisco making 150k😂? Is your friend a software engineer? @c1 I’d take this because it’s business operations. I feel like that’s the closet thing to strategy in industry as it gets (aside from internal strategy groups). Would you disagree?
I agree, but to live on 80k in Silicon Valley doesn’t sound worth it lol
