I make $40,000ish a year with a freelance photography side hustle. Also have $125,000 saved but for some reason can’t work up the courage to leave the ad world. If anyone has words to get me there it would be much appreciated. Feel like my heart isn’t in it anymore and if I focus all my energy into one thing I can make up for lost wages.

Some partners are so stupid. In a free market system, if you want the good associate to work for you, you need to be a nice person. Otherwise, I have enough partners to feed me work and you’re the source of your own problem.

Should I apply to 2 year clerkship as a 2nd year associate? I’m putting my apps together for clerkship positions at the moment. I know that, if I land anything, it wouldn’t start until 2022 or 2023. At that point I’ll be a 3rd or 4th year. I really don’t mind a 1 year clerkship because I love litigating, but would a 2 year clerkship be the wrong move here? I may be a 5th or 6th year when I’m done with it. Any thoughts?
