VCU - Pros: Well-organized, talented students and grads, Master's Degree, great connections to top agencies. Cons: Expensive, degree would be more useful if it were an MBA, copywriting program missing something to make it an A+.
Miami - Pros: Tons of options for where you study and intern (SF or Toronto good for copywriting), some phenomenal graduates, biggest network. Cons: Disorganized, expensive for only a diploma, some easily forgettable grads, have to push yourself and get lucky to make the most of it.
Denver - Pros: Some grads have great portfolios and nice placements, I'm a fan of their "disruptor" positioning and think it helps bring attention to their new grads. Cons: $16k was a more appealing price, they can come off as abrasive to people in the industry, smaller alumni network (especially copywriters).
I guess I'm in the Fishbowl minority who thinks school is worth it, but that's because my own path led to a lot of dead-ends and I need that focused environment.
However, there are some great programs popping up if you fit the criteria they're looking for. ONE School, The Kennedys, The Academy at Goodby, AdHouse, and D&AD New Blood Academy are all things worth looking into.
Denver can get you into a good shop. They have some grads at Weiden + Kennedy. Depends on your goals and what you want to accomplish. Look at the portfolios. Talk to some students. Then make your decision.
Personally, it's not that Denver Ad School isn't good, it's that it's not worth the money. IMO, there are plenty of programs that are more affordable and produce the same results.

I only ever hear good things about Denver ad school from industry people and ad students alike. Why does it seem like fishbowl doesn’t like it?
Have you consider Miama Ad school?
Did you learn to write there?
