ZS > Trinity in most respects. Don’t see much reason to pick the latter
If you are looking for options - Axtria is a growing company with 10 years in market. It’s growing at fast pace is last 3-4 years.
Focused in LifeScience. Smaller compared to ZS and a bit less salary.
WLB - ZS superior to Trinity. People at ZS are really happy (minus the super stressful times of course).
Benefits - can't comment on Trinity, but comp and benefits at ZS are good. I think PTO could be better (15 days to start, 20 days after three years) but health insurance costs are excellent.
Culture - ZS is highly collaborative. Can't comment on Trinity.
Reputation - ZS is established in the space, Trinity is still growing and building out practice areas. Exit opps probably better from ZS, though I'm not at that stage yet.
Do people really consistently average 50 hrs/week? Is this unique to your practice area/level? Or across the firm/level?
Isn’t trinity PE backed? That’s quite risky to go to if you are senior. ZS is private partnership and been around for 35 years or so, lot more stable.
^ Can confirm for Trinity. Entry level (AC) to C to SC to EM has be done in 3.5 to 4years. Exits to associate director positions within the life sciences for new and 1yr EMs seem to be comparable as well between the firms based on LinkedIn.
Trinity career progression is much faster than ZS. Seen sr consultant to associate principal at Trinity in three years and AC to C at ZS takes 2.5-3 years
