Hi All,
I joined Tech Mahindra for 5 days only and didn't find suitable timing for my project and emailed resignation mail to manager and HR. After that HR asked me to resign over portal but at the same time blocked my portal. After requesting many times they didn't unblock my portal and pretended like they want to unblock but there is some issue going on and marked my profile absconded. I have cleared fnf but they are not providing reliving letter but added pf amount also. What to do?
Hi all
Few months back, I accepted @pwc india's offer but didn't join.
Now I was referred for @pwc US but as I was applying for the job, the portal shows previous application with status as offer accepted.
Will pwc consider me again?
Does anyone have any idea on this?
Has someone accepted the offer but didn't join and later joined again after some months?
Please let me know
Any inputs will be helpful
Thanks!

^lol Pwc vs Deloitte advice/approach
"what would you say ya do here?"
Prepare a script. Have a strong opening and a strong closing. Ie know exactly what to say to open and close. Overview of project and expectations from interviewee usually works well for opening, positive reinforcement and next steps with specific timing usually works for closing.
The meeting went well! The partner let me take the lead but helped with the flow of the meeting and adding commentary. I didn't fuck up! Thanks everyone for the advice
1st question: How much time each week would you say you deal with these TPS reports ?
I agree with @P1. Memorizing a script is going to make you seem stilted and will likely make the interviewee uneasy. Respectful and conversational - but do be prepared to give an overview of what you're after at the start, as @D1 suggested.
"could you say a little more about that?" is an all purpose winner. Unless of course you use it at "good morning", that would be awkward.
^ People above saying you don't need a script forget that you said you're new to this. If you had 10 or 50 interviews under your belt, sure you can wing it, definitely if you're familiar with the topic. But it seems you are not - so it would be gross negligence if you don't prepare well. And setting an agenda (rather than 'scripting') and listing the questions at least for yourself, doesn't mean you can't chat naturally, or deviate from that agenda. Wonderful advice guys. Oh, and 100% agree with the strong opening. Sometimes after the chit-chat, set the context, explain why this interview is happening and it you're trying to get out of it.
If you can, start the meeting(s) by just socializing for a few minutes. Helps settle the mood and yourself before diving into the material
Just chat and be natural. It's called an interview but it shouldn't be formal.
They're all people too, and many of them just wanna get their jobs done and go back home to their kids. Make their day interesting with the interview.
Understand what your goal is for the interview. Is it just to meet him/her, to document a process, etc. you don't have to explicitly state the purpose (as that can stifle any natural dialogue) but you need to make sure you don't end the interview without getting what you need. Then just relax. You're smart, you're personable and you're capable. Otherwise you wouldn't be in this role.
Don't worry, they don't bite. They may judge you and ask for you to never come back, but they don't bite. ;) Seriously, in a years time you will be doing this in your sleep
Take this for what it's worth but if I knew that my juniors didn't go into the meeting w a script or at least with a list of 5-10 outcomes/things we want to know, I'd be worried.
Relax. Introduce yourself and anyone else in the room. Try to have someone there to take minutes. Explain the project background and scope. Explain your role in the project. Explain why you're interviewing them and what you're hoping to get out of it.
Thanks all. I prepared a script with objectives and questions we want answered. Turns out the partner is joining too so hoping he will take over if it goes south. Will update again in a few hours!
