Be grateful you are not coming in at Specialist Leader (st Mgr). MUCHO more pressure and hard to get the network immediately to support your targets. Salary seems about right.
for reference, I got 132 + 22% variable comp as a senior consultant in HCM with 8 years experience
I would say its fair, if ur performance is good in the next two years they will place you at the higher end of the salary band. Maybe you can negotiate on joining bonus
Always negotiate ..
New MBA senior consultants make $140k...I feel like people you're managing shouldn't make more than you
Can be negotiated little more.. Not from ETL back ground though
Great salary for Dallas area, but I would say that's the bottom of the range for manager, however I do know a manager at 110 for acn federal. Hmm from what I'm told if u have the offer and u want more, they'll usually give it to you.
Seems 130k will be final.. mostly I might reject it as I feel it's bottom end
Op- who do you work for today?
I really don't think you are at lower end of the band. If the work and client sound interesting to you compared to existing gig then take it up
I live in Dallas and I have seen managers go as low as 90! It all depends on number of years of experience and skills etc etc . Organic growth could be a little on the low end because they think that extra money is for your internal network. Question is how much are you making now and what's your reason for quiting the current firm also which would be ? Anyway I just tried to get rid of your idea about being on the lower side of the band
130 goes a long way in Dallas
Service line matters d4, u must be s&o, OP must be IM
D4 .. other than your MBA.. what you really deserve and own at work? Why $140k?
@OP for reference, SpM has a different career trajectory from M. You can sit at level for longer - no up-and-out, but you have to have solid eminence to get promoted. And you can't get to Partner/Principal. Just so you know.
If your not an MBA from a targeted school and your most likely currently making anywheres from 90-110, 130 is spot on and fair. Ur current level, "SC", and experience demand that pay. If you were an MBA and already a mgr I'd say got for more but at lost in this case u might get 5k more.
EY2 sounds reasonable
