Today marks the 3rd time I’ve failed REG 68-69-73. If I can’t manage the pass REG on Monday I lose credit for AUD, I’m so seriously sick of this CPA journey and can’t wait for it to end

Here is my REG testing tip that will hopefully help you: When you’re stuck on a question, picture yourself as the IRS and how you’ll make the rules. The IRS is reasonable, but not too lenient however. Thinking from their POV personally helped me pass REG.

Don’t give up. You got this! I lost far because I failed audit by 3 points. Went on to take audit over 5 times (reality more but I stopped counting). It was painful. But I passed this past Dec and goodness so worth all the pain.

You got this! You both do!!

I passed reg first time with only 3 weeks of studying but audit ..is sooooooo hard for me. Can you take audit for me and I take reg for you? Lol 😝

At this point I feel like I got lucky with AUD

I’m starting to wonder if you have to take each test say 4-5 times at $305 per test is it even worth. Will your earning potential really be that much different

Team just applied for a TS Clearance (defense agency). Trying to assess if it makes sense to wait till the clearance comes through (6 months to a year?) before I job hop. I'm hoping to get some clarity on the following:
1. Can my company withdraw or cancel my clearance if I leave right after I secure a TS?
2. In terms of compensation, how much value (% compensation) does a TS clearance have in the DC area? Places I'm considering: AWS, Azure, GCP, Data bricks, Appian etc.
Any advice, thanks!

How can I sell my 2 years of clerkship as valuable experience for corporate work? I would like to get credit for at least one year (at least in salary, if I can’t in seniority). I know for litigation they are more clearly valued and linked to that type of work, but I have reconsidered my interests and now am thinking of going into corp. However, I don’t want to feel like I wasted 2 years clerking (which I don’t feel like that, but I have to convince an employer of that too). Any help or insight?

Looking for some advice on a career change. I work in a technical role and have well-developed soft skills. I want to transition to UX (w/ focus on accessibility). There are a lot of UX educational programs out there, some very new, e.g. Dribbble, and costs are all over the place - General Assembly is $15k (and full-time), CareerFoundry almost $8k, and then many others at a fraction of the price. Reviews also vary wildly. Are these more expensive programs worth the huge increase in cost?
