I know Liver King is out there but my roommate has been living by his “9 ancestral tenets” and it basically changed his life. Anyone else that follows something similar seen benefits? Seems like he’s rooted on well being and staying connected with the world around you. Even if you think he’s weird his YouTube video is well put together.

JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

Right now we’re eating around 5, but once my commute kicks in it will be 6. My husband is home earlier than me so he cooks. Kids are in bed by 7:30.
I would not work until 6 with kids. I usually opted for 8-4, but even 9-5 is better.
I have 5-8:30 blocked off my calendar and am very clear to my teams that unless it’s an emergency, I will get to them later. If it is an emergency they can text and I will respond if needed. I have found that by establishing this rule I now get emails from people saying “this can wait until tomorrow, just getting it off my plate now” and everyone is prioritizing better too. I hope on after the kids are in bed if needed.
We are so religious about keeping to our schedule. We eat dinner at 6, play until 7 and begin bedtime routine at 7:15. We do a bath on alternating nights, unless it’s summer and then its every night, jammies and milk, then books and songs. He’s in bed by 8.
Bedtime is SACRED snuggle time. Book reading, hugging, together time. Even if it takes an hour, from 8 until 9.
Smart mamas with the calendar blocks. Noted! Very literal and maybe dumb question... talk to me about dinner. Are you cooking? Ordering? Prepping ahead? With only two-ish hours between work and kids bedtime, I don’t want to spend 30-45 minutes cooking, but I really need to reign in the DoorDash. And we like to eat by 7 latest with my little one. Are crock pots in my future?
We take turn cooking and the person not cooking hangs out with kiddos. Then person cooking handles bedtime to get kiddo time while other partner cleans. But now my daughter (3.5) wants to help cook so that’s also been fun doing it as a family.
We block our calendars from 7-9 and it’s just kid time. Even better if you can start at 6.
Eat, bathe, play, calm bedtime routine.
First week back from maternity leave and I’m basically cutting off work at 5/5:30. Then it’s tummy time and bedtime routine (bath, feeding, story time). Then hubs/I will have dinner around 7/7:30 after the little one is in bed. And hop on as needed after for any emergencies.
