Larsen & Toubro Infotech Hello Everyone I want to know the work life balance in LTI. I've heard that the culture is like BPO you've to spend 9 hours in the office even if your work is completed. They are very much strict about timings. If you're login time is 10 it should be 10 if you login at 10:15 you need manager approval. The projects are also of supports? I'm selected as Java developer in Lymbyc(LYM) Bu. Please it would be really helpful if you guys give me some insight especially Larsen & Toubro Infotech L&T Techn

You guys love shitting on BAH. The group think here is too real. Congrats OP, there's plenty of cool work to find. I have heard cool things about war gaming. Maybe look into that.
“Federal Space” means being on a local project while working 9-5 on the dot and getting to work from home multiple days a week while getting paid the same salary as commercial. I think that’s the appeal.
Bruh
Sorry about getting counseled out :(
“Opportunity to work in the Federal Space.” Haha, that’s a good one.
What universe is this?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 BCG2 coming in hot on a Monday. But he’s right
What's the appeal of federal work? I have a feeling that you will change your mind soon
A3 - the appeal of federal work to me is the opportunity to be a patriot and help my country vs help the cogs turn in corporate America.
BAH will sponsor all clearances. But OP if you are real I really hope you landed in a good group there. BAH is a mess. I left a few years ago after putting up with it for far too long.
Strangely I can’t find a BAH person that was recently at BCG on LinkedIn
BCG3 drop a burner and I’ll add you ;)
BCG3 dude you sure you don’t want to connect?!?!
The appeal of federal work fades fast when you encounter government bureaucracy
Chill BCG2 I️ didn’t get fired, just an opportunity to work in a field that is more interesting to me.
Federal = USA, right?
There’s a certain sense of self-accomplishment supporting government agencies that do meaningful work to allow our citizens to enjoy the lives we do. No - Booz seems to be a pretty liberal place in general though.
Hope BAH is sponsoring your clearance. That place was a mess. I only lasted six months.
D2 they are - not sure what I’m supposed to do for a year while it processes though.. recruiters didn’t mention how backed up the process is. Maybe I’ll take the time to get back in shape and improve my golf game.
A4 hi nice to see you. And to know that you think everybody is me. I got way more than 20 percent bump when I came to consulting.
OP steer clear of DHS, a total disaster of management, and that was before this administration screwed up his cabinet so much they don't even have a secretary anymore. People supporting intelligence agencies seemed to like what they did so maybe you'll luck out but for every bad ass gig there are dozens of butts in seat gigs that are only not automated because we don't trust computers not to be compromised (but humans.... OK). In general you will not find that there's much strategic thinking being asked for by any par of fed, at least not that I ever saw. I personally thought the policy teams were doing the most impactful work, eg national broadband initiatives, setting them up to be effective, that kind of thing, so seek those out if intel isn't really your thing (not for me, I like talking about my job with family and friends too much to make that trade off)
