I've had a hybrid role for the past 4 years where I get unlimited sick days (well 14 really until fmla kicked in), 3 weeks of vacation, 3 personal days. I am also given the week after Xmas off. if my toddlers are sick I can work at home with them. Interviewing w fortune 500 that offers 15 pto days that have to use for sick days too.Strictly in office job 9-5 and dress bus.prof. These bad benefits? Outdated culture?I am a seasoned professional. Seems tough.

“Federal Space” means being on a local project while working 9-5 on the dot and getting to work from home multiple days a week while getting paid the same salary as commercial. I think that’s the appeal.
No one at BCG signs a contract locking them into FI strategy. I call bullshit.

Federal space, meaning federally cleared work which is what I️ am interested in. BCG wouldn’t sponsor me for a clearance because they don’t have a presence in the federal space.
Uhhh I️ think you’ve got it all wrong. You probably won’t get a sense of accomplishment and will want to leave. BAH is a mess and Fed is a bigger mess. Been bouncing around Fed work for 5 years and have interfaced with contractors at multiple agencies.

I do exclusively defense strategy work supporting both DoD and defense industrial companies. That’s a thing at BCG. Not sure why you felt you had to leave to do that work.

The firm didn't sponsor your clearance? I know we're building up BCG Fed; I'm surprised they said no. I actually came from Booz Allen to do commerical work, but I have had a chance to do some really cool Federal work as well.
BCG was an excellent company I️ just pivoted due to my interests aligning more with BAH’s market. Sheesh.

KPMG 1 - I was on one of the national broadband projects and almost every role was pure staff aug - I couldn't get out fast enough.
