They said it’s not really a “practice” of the firm to guarantee the bonus and that they want to properly incentivize people to hit hours… but I now have data from current associates and ones who had offers (including recently this past month) who received guarantees — nothing exceptional about their circumstances either.

I have a manager meeting post PIP on Friday. I worked really hard but feels like the manager still isn’t happy and I might be shown the exit. I had filed for short term disability for extreme stress due to hostile work environment which will likely get approved on Monday. What’s the best move for me? I am thinking take Friday off so the manager meeting gets pushed to next week when my leave is already approved?
