I’d look within EY first for opportunities in different groups. Naturally it would mean more years as a senior, but would likely be an easier transition as you already know all the “firm” lingo
Applicable to industry. has anyone done this? Thoughts?
Agree with PwC1 although it might be easier to switch to a different firm as a core tax senior where you can work on a lot of different projects
Why are you trapped?
No place to go except up
If you want to jump to industry I would suggest moving into Corp tax... more options in industry
But probably as a staff cause how can I be expected to perform as a senior?
They generally won’t let you drop a level.. they accept you will do staff work at a senior rate but expect ext you to have a fast learning curve
