Hi all. I have been recently offered a position at guidehouse with a great pay increase from my current position. I expressed my concern of how important work life balance is and I was assured it was a standard 40 hour work week with occasional 45 hours. Hello fishes.. i received an offer from Walmart for Staff Software Engineer position. Below is the bifurcation:

57 fixed + 15 variable + 24 RSU ( for 4 years)+ 24 new joiner RSU + 6 JB.
Total : 1.2 CR

My current CTC is 54 ( all fixed).

If i look at the total CTC of Walmart offer, it does look fancy but I'm not really overwhelmed with the base (6% increase). So i want to know your opinion whether Walmart offer is really a good deal or is it a compromise?

Bought a 300k end unit townhouse in Atlanta, 14 months ago with 10% down (3.65% interest rate). Prices in subdivision have been increasing over that period.
