Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.

Depends on your main hub, but you’d need to spend at least $50K, preferably on Business or Flexible Economy fares
Google
Approximately 50k per year
Yes surely it’s a more complex LTV calc. Can imagine it’s something N5Y expected gross profit vs avg/replacement customers where replacement is the next passenger in your home base. Spend and date class are the proxies we have available for gross profit.
For those that want to go down the rabbit hole:

50k or more. Hit 42k last year but got stuck at 1K
$50-60k spend on United metal (not partner airlines, regardless of who ticketed)
That’s a huge benefit. Better if you can status match it with the other carriers
Also anecdotally I’ve heard international Business Class helps a lot. I know several people with >$50k spend but entirely domestic economy who were stuck at 1K.
B1 - How do you figure?
Picking the middle’ish of the continents (IAH-FRA)
- 5 r/t x 2 segs x 5,232 miles x 200% biz multiplier = 105k PQM, more than enough for 1K
Even with a shorter hop (EWR-LHR), 7 r/ts will get you 1K.
That’s a different metric than GS though. You probably would need 8 r/ts @ $6-8k to make it
