Heads or Tails?

Disney Streaming Services I completed my interview process with DSS early last week, and was reached out by recruiter that all rounds were strong hires, and they are extending an offer. We set a time to talk on Friday about the offer. However, the announcement of targeted hiring freeze happened on Friday. I was ghosted with no call. What should I expect now? Would I still have chance to be offered?

Just like that. Unfortunately you’ll THEN need to list everything you’ve done during this time to warrant them paying you merely what you’re worth; so be sure to have the list handy.
I did this just recently and got my bump and then some. Make sure you can chat about direct impact to client projects, any internal team growth or department learnings you spearheaded, and note if you helped land any new business.
Say “beyond a cost of living increase, I also believe I deserve a performance based raise. I would like to request $x”
Unfortunately, it's doubtful you'll convince them of a 10% raise due solely to inflation. Most companies are also suffering from the impacts of the economy. if you're going to ask for that much, I'd strongly recommend having something to back it up in terms of what value you bring vs. strictly cost of living. Good luck!
If you find out let me know
Based on this, we should all have annual increases as health insurance always seems to go up, rent, taxes, other bills go up, etc. And that COL increase happens in many other industries. But not ours and that’s why people hop around so much. But good luck!
The way to go about it is to prepare a list of all the great things you have contributed to the company during your time as associate creative director. If you have been there a while, you can bring up loyalty and commitment.
You'll be lucky if you get a raise at all. Maybe 5%. Most reviews don't result in anything at all.
Also just to note: usually good to bring this up on the early side, because sometimes by the time your review comes around, budget for raises has already been allocated and less likely to be moved around. Every company is different, but friends in finance/HR have given me this advice and it did come in handy.
^ due to inflation
Honesty, that is the best way to put it. Plus your work and what you have done since your last review.
I wouldn’t mention inflation or any of those external factors. Talk about how you’ve done great work and the impact you have had on the work, for clients and your team. If it helps, put together a mini deck and walk your manager through. Do whatever it takes to make your case and be clear that you need that pay bump.
