My firm's starting to focus on PEGs, which is exciting. I've worked a few M&A projects, and they were the best: no shortage of hours, discussions about how to bring disparate elements to standard security controls, and when it's all said and done you move on.

I'm a Sr, could be bumped up to manager 2024. Cloud/network security focused.

Any good course on Udemy for Learning AWS Services for a Developer.

I saw some good courses for getting an AWS Developer Associate certificate certificate.
Do these courses explain concepts or explain the question to answer?

I am project manager in clinical research industry (CRO). After earning PhD, I gave up my science dream to take a more stable job. After slowly climbing the ladders, I feel like I finally got a seat at the table. Half the days I like the hustle, but now I miss being creative. I want to take more brainstorming, decision making responsibilities but I don’t see that in the career path for PM. Career path usually goes like this- Sr PM, Director, Sr Director, and so on. But all do same work.

This is in regards with my resignation. I have resigned on 22nd March (LWD : 22 June ) on medical grounds. Since then, my hr has asked for my prescriptions and medical certificates to give me an early release.

But yesterday, She is stating that my lwd is revised to 18th April with a clause that since my release is on medical grounds I can't join any other orgs before 22june. If joined, there will be problem in background verification.

1: EY - FDD, home city, very good $$ for FDD

2: PwC - post-merger integration, DDV team (essentially M&A Consulting) - bigger city, always been keen to move

Coming as a Senior in Audit, with recent FDD exposure (2 deals, obviously not much). I was looking for something more than just number crunching, wanting a mix of quant / quali / strategic work. M&A Advisory or a Corp Strategy role is where I'm looking to end up long term.

How important is prestige for exit opportunities compared to actual work done? Will a big name firm always trump a smaller less known firm that your average person doesn't know?

Align to non-M&A offering but do a lot of work in the space (DD, integrations). B4 recruiter reached out and wants me to provide resume@for review with hiring partner. Does it work if I provide a bio with summary of M&A projects (client names removed) instead of a traditional resume? Also plan to list education and previous roles.

Trying to understand market value for a target and struggling to find comparable comp set. I’m new to working on deals this small and any guidance on how to approach this would be appreciated (I.e., specific resources to reference, type of multiples typically used - Ebitda or rev. NTM/ LTM).

Target info: >$2MM rev., ~100K EBITDA, ~10% YoY growth
