I'm based in UK and our cases are done a bit differently so unfortunately I don't know how you yanks do it. But I can connect you with a US colleague if you'd like? Best of luck mate. Do you have old colleagues at BCG that can at least help you fast track through it?
Op, how much time have you spent in industry and what's the reason you're looking to bounce back?
Technically we are but I've heard of some weird stories when people's lives were made hard after they returned... do you have a burner?
I can help you out. Are you guys not allowed to boomerang though?
That's fucking shitty. Are you US based?
Yep... you?
That's surprising! Am in a west coast office and we have a well loved principal who has boomeranged 5 times
My understanding is McKinsey and BCG use different case methods. Would be wary about that. That said, smart people are smart people.
👋I don't want to go back to BCG... 👋I want to go to Deloitte
Still looking for someone who would like to practice :)
Which office were you in OP? Nobody there you are still friends with?
What do you mean lives were made hard? Also curious- why leaving industry?
Wait we have to redo case interviews to come back to BCG?
Were you let go, op? This sounds odd
Just went to work in industry for a couple of years but found it a bit boring. Not sure about the boomerang process with BCG but want want to make sure my case skills are up to date. If interested, give a burner
Unless you were let go, in which case boomeranging not possible, I don't think you need to do a case
