Every day a new layoff, gotta love agency life
Was quite a bit more I think
2-5% of the workforce across NA offices at every level. No one was "safe". Today was my voluntarily last day there.
I only received an email about my direct manager being let go (2 days later) and at the end of the 2nd day of lay offs the office lead for my assigned office sent a note saying activities were completed and it only affected 2 people. If you knew who they were you knew if you didn't you didn't. No other message from the larger organization was sent.
Does NA mean NY or Chicago, LA? Or a few across all offices?
I obviously do not have the inside information but based on what I was hearing from the many offices I collaborated with in my last week there it seemed to me to be over 100. Now maybe it's not much over 100 so they're averaging down instead of up to look better. But they also do not have to include the many contractors or freelancers they had on their teams in the final numbers as well.
