Anyone from Boston Consulting Group Boston Consulting Group (BCG) working in non-consulting - Technology/Engineering/Global Services?
How's the work life balance? Glassdoor reviews are full of "long working hours" and hence wanted to know if it's the same with non-consulting folks as well?
How far is it true across the organisation?
Please help me shed some light to decide.
Thanks.

A lot of people front Chicago do mileage runs to Hong Kong (that's my plan for this year)
Isn't it early to be planning mileage runs?
Are you doing a real mileage run (i.e. Absolutely minimal cpm?) or just looking to take a cool trip and grab enough miles? To me, they are two different things. I flew DCA->SLC->Spokane and back in a day as a mileage run. Wasn't fun, but it was cheap as shit.
Hong Kong, Tokyo, London, Madrid, Barcelona, take your pick
Chicago-LA-Anchorage-Phoenix-Dallas-Chicago = 8,311 miles
^ I did that in less than 24 hs (it was a true mile run) and it cost me $590 bucks in 2016.
There should be some reasonably cheap Asia fares in the fall -- I'm seeing PEK, PVG, NRT in the $500-600 range from ORD in October. HKG usually runs closer to 700-800 but ends up being my usual "mileage run", courtesy of my XLDR

If anything, I'm going to need a revenue run to hit the ExPlat EQD requirements ☹️
Secretflying.com that's where I found my mileage run to Thailand and back last year for $406
