Ey tech risk isn’t cyber. What do you want to do?
In favor of a no name company? Yes probably. But do not stay in that role longer than 2 years.
Unless you have other options out of these 2, given all you have are internship experiences, absolutely take EY. Honestly, I would take it regardless of what it is - better to re-write your story 2 years from now, coming from EY than from the other option. Full disclosure, I don’t know who they are. Doesn’t mean they are bad tho.
EY is IT Auditing - and you are right to say I don’t want that. But I think 💯 go to EY. You can always move to cyber within EY - I don’t know your background, education, network etc - please get big 4 on the resume over waves tons. I mean big 4 is not perfect but for someone who doesn’t have experience, doesn’t have other better opportunities, don’t pass this opportunity. My advice applies if this was an offer from any big 4, not just EY.
Wavestone is quite good for cyber but the brand name is close to non-existent outside France and maybe 2 other European countries
We have a cybersecurity practice, but it’s completely separate from tech risk.
No. That would not come across well.
It would be better to apply directly to the role you want.
Never heard of Wavestone
I'm with EY, and would agree on the comments on that group.
I'd make sure you understand the work that would be involved in the two roles and choose the one where you think you're going to get more development out of it.
