will staying in B4 a little longer (more than 2 years) really open up more/better opportunities in the future? or am i just drinking that b4 kool aid. Wouldn’t want to rush to industry role that becomes repetitive and boring as opposed to B4 where you get more experience/exposure to many things
What's everyone's bonus and increase percentage looking like? I know GT folks found out today. Is everyone satisfied or ready to quit?
Currently in industry. Got an offer to go back into public for a 10,000 raise. Current employer offered raise of 5,000 plus an already promised bonus to equal the 10,000. So it is now a lateral...
Which one would you choose: Better company with a role less inline with your goals or a role more inline with your goals but at a less reputable/industry leading company?
What companies are hiring? I’m looking to get my foot in the door as an Associate Producer or new Producer. I was only in account management for 3-years, my background is TV/Film production, mainly the production office and some floor management. Also, should I be weary of AP job titles that sound more like project management?
Is it PC to ask my supervisor what the salary range is for my current position? I don't want to leave because of money.
Hi 🐠! Im current at EY in a consulting group that does not focus on deals, but have completed few due diligence type engagements. We focus mostly on ODD (Operational Due Diligence) for private equity firms. I really want to make it into IB. I have an interview for a Valuation and Opinions Role. Would that help in transitioning in as an IB Analyst? I would have a substantial pay cut (100K to 85K - excluding bonus). My current experience has not been seen as valuable by recruiters.
Any change management / culture change practices are hiring? 7 YOE in OD, looking for new opportunities
Hi All 👋🏾 I was laid off. I started at SR as a contractor (now @ Mosaic) and have 8 yrs in ecomm/digital. Looking for role leads and new connections in the space. ☀️

On your resume, do you group all accomplishments under your current position or do you separate them by the levels at which you achieved them? Newly promoted Consultant from Analyst here and don’t have much to fill up the space under my current title, but I have a lot of impressive work from my time as an analyst.

Feeling like my marriage post-baby is in ruins. Feel like I’m doing everything for baby and running the household solo during leave while hubby is back at work. Even worse is when he travels for work
Spent the whole week prepping the office for “work from home” procedures in light of Covid-19. Company wide email with follow-up meeting this morning to tell everyone it will be business as usual.🤦♂️

As a parent, I'm curious about how you think the quality of education is now differing with the remote learning? Do you think this is a degradation of 25%? 50%? Or are there some benefits?
Started career in consulting, went to industry, now back in consulting as a senior industry expert. No sales targets. Being heavily recruited by another firm to join as a partner and build a practice. 100% comfortable with everything in the role except selling. I have great rolodex and close relationships with many C-level execs but have never approached them to sell services. Any partners have advice on how to start building a book of business when you haven't been a seller?
What’s with all this “off-cycle raise” nonsense and more importantly how come I didn't get one 😭? (Deloitte)

Are there legacy Parthenon folks who became consultant just recently this year without an mba? Trying to understand if the new title system made it such that only mbas are consultants. Also did y’all get a raise?
Are any top consulting firms hiring for experienced analysts currently? I know ACN and some others are cyclical for resources 2-3 years out of college, but I’m looking to make a move sooner than fall
Considering taking an FP&A senior associate role at mid size public company (3k people) with ~10% raise. Pretty on the fence. Current audit senior (rising S2). Any advice? I think finance is more the direction I want to go but unsure really.
Anyone know what % range raise to expect from Senior 1 to Senior 2? I know it'll be small but still curious!
