Hello Mastercard employees. I have been trying to break into MC for long now.
I have 2 yrs workex post MBA. I have experience in data analysis and consulting. But I don't want to get into consulting anymore. I am looking for analytics roles. Anyone here would be able to DM and guide me on the available options at Mastercard?

Assume nothing until there's an offer letter in front of you.
It was one of the partners. They invited me to a team lunch afterwards.
Sounds highly promising! Nothing is real until in writing, but hopefully that's just a formality and coming soon...
Offer letter or it didn't happen...
yea
Yeah, you got it.
Who said it? If it was a peer, nah. If it was the decision maker, sure.
No offer no deal.
Always always wait for the offer letter. This could fall apart negotiating salary or benefits. Personally, I wait even until we have clarity on any additional checks they do since offers can be contingent on other checks (background, drug test, etc).
Let us know how it works out, please.
Give us closure.
I have heard that countless times and there was no deal. Keep looking and never stop that way you can always have the best options.
Wish I had closure to give. Interview on Friday, no contact since then. Maybe I read it wrong... 😬
Lol, so check back in on Monday?:) Good luck with interview!
Lol thanks but no, the interview was on Friday. Still waiting to hear from them what their decision is. Hoping it's just hr dragging their feet.. what's the longest you guys have gone before hearing good news?
Oh, I misunderstood what you meant. That can really vary!! Two days is not weird. They're interviewing others too that they scheduled, or finance needs to sign, or some boss is out sick, etc. It can go any direction and there can be a number of reasons. Hope it goes your way. If not, don't dwell in it too long/move on ASAP
Yea you're totally right, trying the best not to think about it but they're one of (if not thee) best shops in town. Hard to not obsess!
Over the course of two weeks hubby interviewed with 7 ppl including the CEO and COO. Haven't heard a thing since last interview two weeks ago. It happens but you have to keep your head up and move on
I interviewed somewhere a month ago. Got that feedback. Have kept in touch but they have to figure out finances. Needless to say I'm still out there looking. Nothing is real till you get the offer letter.
