I have resigned from my current organisation and have asked for an early relieving. I have offered to buyout the remaining of the notice period but my manager is not agreeing citing reasons as procedure of the company. My offer letter with this company states that I can leave early in lieu of payment of the notice period on mutual agreement. My manager is simply not agreeing as he is angry that I’m leaving. Does anyone else find that even though the cannabis industry is booming, budtenders lack basic benefits like decent pay, healthcare, PTO, vacation, maternity leave? My company was acquired recently by a much larger company and they considered my pregnancy a “pre-existing condition” therefore I got nothing for maternity leave although the prior company had pretty much accepted my claim.
